Do you need internet for this apple TV since only have iPhone with hot spot only will it work
I've had mine for about two weeks
This will probably never happen, but I thought of a Apple TV remote design where the whole front of the remote is a Capacitive touch screen, kinda like a really thin iPhone X I guess, where it would display digital versions of the buttons we all know. But why? would probably be someones question, and so here I am, to answer that XD Maybe you could customize or switch the buttons like the control center on iOS, if you switch the orientation of the remote the buttons would flip, maybe you could get buttons and options only available to certain services or applications. Like if you go into YouTube for instance, you may see a Like/Dislike Button appear on the remote, or if you are on Netflix, the user profiles may appear in a list for you to choose from. In Music or Podcasts you could see more in-depth playback controls like a progress bar, a small up next list, etc. And while yes their is the iOS app, I still think having all this stuff on a physical remote would be really cool. The OS on the thing would probably be called remoteOS lol

Choosing between Apple TV and Amazon Fire, the choice has to be Amazon -because Amazon enabled a web browser, where Apple obviously decided they COULD add a browser, but that it would only detract from their paid content and disabled it. Makes me want to switch to Android and go to a Chromebook.
Can add the ip camera or some like that to the apple tv?

I'm finding out about apple tv for the first time just recently and I think it's incredibly amazing, the only thing I've used on my tv was my xbox but now that I've found this I'm gonna buy it within the next few months and the fact that you can listen to the audio through bluetooth headphones and listen to my music is what had me sold cause this is new technology to me, I feel like an old guy who is experiencing modern technology for the first time

I just bought an Apple TV 4G to give as Christmas Gift and I notived they no longer come in a black box, it's a white box now. WTF?
I haven't got one for myself because since PS3 I've always use my console for Netflix, Youtube, Gaming etc…
Apple should come up with a strong console that can compete with PS and Xbox that also comes with all the Apple TV has and only then I'll get one.
